I want to thank you for making my dream of an island wedding come true! We had spent several months trying to figure out what we wanted to do… Hugh wanted a traditional wedding with family and friends, and I wanted to elope with just the 2 of us. It seemed impossible that we would find any compromise until we found your site, where practically anything is possible. We were already scheduled to take a cruise and were so excited that we would be stopping at St. Thomas! After a year and a half of engagement without a clue what we were going to do, our wedding plans came together very quickly and easily with your wise counsel and expertise. Initially, I was all about having a basic wedding, which would have been beautiful nonetheless, but with your guidance chose things that made our wedding day unforgettable for us and for our families who joined us. From the orange tropical bouquet and mango-flavored cake (my favorite color and flavor!) to the wonderful and professional individuals you selected, the pastor, guitarist and photographer, everything was as perfect, fun and stress-free as it could be. Thanks for accommodating all of our last-minute requests and for treating us like friends, not clients. We will recommend you to anyone thinking of having a beautiful and memorable wedding in the islands.
We are so happy with how everything turned out and just looked at all the pics which arrived a couple of days ago. If you could, please give a special thanks to James (guitarist), Katie (photographer) and Steve (minister). I love James’ CD and listen to it frequently and Katie’s pics turned out so professionally. I also want to really thank you for helping me get over fear of family dynamic stuff (it all went very smoothly in a potentially volatile situation) and for helping to accommodate my last minute transportation change. I also want to add that we went to lunch afterward @ Tavern on the Waterfront… definitely recommend to other guests who might be looking for a place to eat afterward. Food and atmosphere were great.
Please take care, Cheryl. We’ll remember that day forever.
